Matoula Douvartzides in China:
Omiros College would like to announce another big milestone which impacts positively on the school. Principal, Matoula Douvartzides, spent two years in Beijing, on the invitation of Latrobe University on secondment. She pioneered the first centre for Greek language at Beijing Foreign Studies University as a founding lecturer.
She left armed with the Omiros curriculum, a lot of clothes...and not much knowledge of the Chinese language. She was in Beijing during the excitement of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
