Matoula Douvartzides in China: I would like to share with you another big milestone which impacts positively on the college. My wife, and Deputy Principal, Matoula, is currently in Beijing where she will be based for the next four months. She was invited by Latrobe University and the Beijing University of Foreign Languages to go on a secondment, and to pioneer the first Greek tertiary classes to operate in China.
She left armed with the Omiros curriculum, a lot of clothes...and not much knowledge of the Chinese language. In light of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing however, it is good to know we have a friend who will be well versed in all that has to do with the city.
