Welcome to all students, parents and friends. We are very proud of Omiros College and we know that you will learn a great deal about our school from this website. There is information about the School's philosophy, our hiqh-quality programs, curriculum, our staff and what students will be learning at each grade level.

In 2008, we will continue our focus on engaging our students in authentic real-life educational activities. We are also focusing on effective effort as the most important ingredient for success in learning Greek. Our students supply the motivation to work hard and our staff teach them the strategies to work smart and achieve better results.

Our students are exposed to a number of exciting learning experiences and are able to perform to the best of their abilities. This is evident from the results shown from our assessment and evaluation strategies and from students' increased enthusiasm towards learning Greek.

All our Year 12 VCE Greek students once again obtained high marks with an outstanding 94% achieving results between B and A+.

A key purpose in the future must be to continue providing passion and pride in learning Greek at Omiros College, through the highest quality and flexible provision of education.

 Amongst other achievements, last year, our students had the great honour to represent the Greek community at the MCG for the celebrations of the 50 years since the Melbourne Olympic Games.

I hope that 2008 will bring everyone good health, personal and family happiness. May this year be a peaceful one filled with success and prosperity for the whole of humanity.
