Section 1: Conversation (approximately 7 minutes)
The examination will begin with a conversation between the student and the assessor/s. It will consist of a general conversation about the student's personal world, for example school and home life, family and friends, interests and aspirations.
Many thanks to the students who have provided us with a draft video clip related to their preparation for the oral exam.
Preparing for the conversation should be part of your daily routine. It is easy and fun, especially when you involve your family members. Use a digital camera to video record your conversation. View the clips with a fluent Greek speaker and ask him/her to provide you with constructive feedback.

Section 2: Discussion (approximately 8 minutes)
Following the conversation the student will indicate to the assessor/s the sub-topic chosen for the detailed study and, in no more than one minute, briefly introduce the main focus of their sub-topic, alerting assessors to any objects brought to support the discussion.
Topic: Friendship
It's never too early to start preparing for your discussion. Collect any articles related to 'friendship' from magazines, the Internet and newspapers. Your teacher will also provide you with various texts and audiovisual
resources.
