Demonstrate comprehension of simple, factual information through answering questions, completing a grid, substituting words in a story.
Speaking
Make statements and ask simple questions to exchange greetings and personal information, seek help, describe a friend, everyday object or event.
Reading
Identify specific items of information in labels/captions, illustrated stories and poems, and use the information to make choices.
Writing
Write and spell short sentences correctly to convey a personal message, record factual information and describe illustrations.
